Overtone Films LLC is a production company based in New York City. Founded in 2009 by filmmaker Hilan Warshaw, the company has a special emphasis on films related to music and the arts-- documentaries, narratives, and performance videos.
Overtone Films produces videos for clients including Carnegie Hall, the League of American Orchestras, Dicapo Opera Theatre, and Quill Classics. Overtone is also currently producing two independent projects: WAGNER'S JEWS, a documentary, and OVERTONES, a series of experimental narratives.
In addition to producing and directing projects through Overtone Films, Warshaw’s video editing and writing credits include documentaries broadcast on PBS, ARTE, and NHK.
