Short Works

Overtone Films has produced and edited numerous short-form documentaries and other videos for clients including Carnegie Hall, New York City Opera, the League of American Orchestras,  San Francisco Symphony,  The Drama League of New York, Quill Classics, and the public-relations firm Goddard Gunster, working with many of today's leading musical and performing artists.

Hilan Warshaw has also produced independent short narrative films, including an ongoing series entitled OVERTONES. Each one of the films tells a story inspired by a piece of classical music-- using the music as a soundtrack, and without any dialogue.

“The visual direction of the videos is so beautiful... The compelling music and elegant setting combine to create a heightened experience that reminds us, among other things, just how exciting life can be, esthetically.”
